Taking the female experience as a starting point, with all the confusion, insecurity and fragmented thinking that coincides within. In the chaos of creating, I'm searching for static feminine figures that each tell their own story of discomfort. Inspired by the myths, stories and legends throughout history, I convey women as an immortal subject. As an active negation of the male gaze, I portray the woman in the purest form of her being.

De vrouwelijke ervaring als uitgangspunt, met alle verwarring, onzekerheid en fragmenterend denken dat daaruit voortvloeit. In de chaos van het creëren zoek ik statische vrouwenbeelden die elk hun eigen verhaal van discomfort vertellen. Geïnspireerd door de mythen, verhalen en legendes door de eeuwen heen, belicht ik de vrouw als een onvergankelijk onderwerp. Als een actieve negatie van the male gaze, toon ik de vrouw in het puurste van haar zijn.
