Through my art, primarily centered around painting, I aim to capture the intricate nature of the human body and the disorientation stemming from existing in a hypersexualized society.
In my paintings, I explore the boundaries of erotisism and the symbiotic connection between sexuality and individuality. With contorted bodies displayed on the frame, my intentions are to open up dialogue about current societal norms surrounding the body and sexuality. By combining realistic elements with abstract interpretations, I try to evoke a sense of disorientation and provoke introspection, inviting the viewers to confront their own perceptions and assumptions about the human form.
My work tries to confront the viewer with the taboos that surround the current way of thinking and invites the viewer to reflect about the body and sexuality in relation to identity and connection.
